Winter months can drag and they can definitely get you down but there are some pretty awesome things to do when its chilly outside. I always try to make the best of these dark dreary months. Here are a few things I want to do before the snow starts to melt in March (hopefully?).
1. Go to the Christmas Tree at Faneuil Hall. I LOVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. Some people may think this is a ridiculous thing to do but my ideal night out would be heading to Boston for dinner and a few drinks and stopping by to admire the tree. Its also been such a mild December so far that walking around and shopping at Faneuil Hall would be great.
2. Eat at the Tipsy Toboggan. I have written about the Tipsy Toboggan's sister restaurant, Tipsy Seagull, before and the Tipsy Toboggan is just as seasonally amazing. It looks and feels like a ski lodge with a fire going, comfy couches, and comfort food and drinks ready to be ordered. The bar is huge and the atmosphere is so homey.
3. Get a personal trainer. I was talking a friend from high school the other day who swears by her trainer at our gym. I'd like to consider myself an in shape individual but lately I am feeling like I am hitting a plateau. I want to try a trainer out to see if a new workout regiment will help!
4. Go skiing. I have gone skiing twice before, once with my friends and once with my boyfriend and both times have started off rough (falling a TON) but always seemed to end on a good note. I am getting the hang of it and even though I am the most ungraceful bunny on the slopes, I still love it.

5. Drive around to see the Christmas lights! I love doing this. Something about Christmas decorations makes me so happy.
6. Do more prerequisites for Speech Pathology school. I have wanted to go back for my Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology for some time now. Because I did my undergrad in something completely unrelated I have to complete a list of prerequisites to apply to the program. Since I have started taking classes, they have added more and more prerequisites which has frustrated me to no end. It's making my goal seem unattainable. But I took a semester off and plan on jumping back on the horse before the winter is through!
