As I have hinted before, I HATE it when people say they do not like Halloween. Ever since I was a little baby Kels I have always counted the days down until I could eat infinite Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and when, at the end of trick or treating, my dad would dare me to run and touch the furthest gravestone in the cemetery down the street from us in under 30 seconds. It was horrifying and exhilarating all at once, especially at the dark hour of 8:00 p.m #daylightsavings. But I mostly did it because he would buy me Chinese food after.
This love for the holiday has followed me through my teens years and even now in my mid-twenties. Part of me still believes (or hopes) that some kind of magical happenings occur on Halloween night. I feel like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin but IDGAF.
I dressed up three times this holiday season and I got to say, I was pretty impressed with myself. I have pinterest boards dedicated to costume planning every year and I this year I portrayed the Energizer Bunny, a devil, and a Sugar Skull.

Note: Jean jacket was not part of the costume, but the party was outside. Still pretty fetch though if you ask me.
Devil costume was my least favorite of the three. The corset kind of hurt and didn't give me as much lift as I had hoped, but whatevs, I felt pretty bad ass all night.
Sugar skull is a costume I have wanted to do forever...and I'm so happy I did it with my BFF. My makeup was face paint and tattoos, her's were stickers and face paint. I literally went to breakfast the next morning with make-up still on and had to scrub my whole face with baby lotion in the bathroom. (NOT SHOWN: super cool bone temporary tattoos on our arms that glowed in the dark).
Also a fun extra photo of my boyfriend who probably won Halloween WAY more than I did. He was a minion (see energizer bunny photo), Scooby Doo (lol) AND a chicken. I could literally kick myself for not snagging a picture of him in the chicken costume. It was HILARIOUS. He was literally in onsies for the last two weekends and it was the best.
It was the best Halloween weekend(s) ever and I really feel like I took a step forward in my dance moves skills. Until next year Halloween :-*
